On January 11, the Bogodukhovsky district police department received information from a resident of the district that unknown persons were sawing a forest near the village of Maksimovka.

Reported by the press service of the regional police.

The police found that 28, 34 and 35-year-old residents of the district were involved in the crime.

Currently, a pre-trial investigation is underway in criminal proceedings, open under h. 4 st. 246 (illegal felling or illegal transportation, storage, sale of timber) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for 5 to 7 years in prison.

Three men were informed of suspicion of committing a crime, the issue of choosing a preventive measure is being decided.
