Two female footballers from foreign clubs have been recruited to the women's national team.

The head coach of the women's national team Natalya Zinchenko announced the squad for the first training camp before preparing for the playoffs of the European Championship in 2022, the official website of women's football of Ukraine reported.

The majority of those called represent the long-term leaders of women's club football - Zhilstroy-1 and Zhilstroy-2.

On Sunday, February 14, the team will get together, and the next day they will go to the training camp in Turkey, where they will hold several friendly matches, the opponents in which are being clarified.

Goalkeepers: Irina Sanina (Zhilstroy-1), Katerina Samson, Darina Bondarchuk (both - Zhilstroy-2).

Defenders: Daria Kravets (Reims, France), Olga Basanskaya, Lyubov Shmatko (both - Zhilstroy-1), Irina Podolskaya, Katerina Korsun, Anastasia Filenko, Natia Pantsulaya (all - Zhilstroy-2).

Midfielders: Olga Ovdiychuk, Daria Apanaschenko, Anna Petrik (all - Zhilstroy-1), Iya Andrushchak, Veronika Andrukhiv, Tatyana Kitaeva, Yana Malakhova (all - Zhilstroy-2), Victoria Girin (Ladomir), Tamila Khimich (without club).

Forwards: Nicole Kozlova (Virginia Tech, USA), Anna Voronina, Olga Boychenko (both - Zhilstroy-1), Roksolana Kravchuk, Yana Kalinina (both - Zhilstroy-2).

The six teams that qualified for the Euro 2022 playoffs will be split into three pairs, which will determine the three finalists in home and away matches.. The draw for the playoffs will take place in March 2021.
