Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk stopped playing at the Australian Open-2021, the main draw of which began on February 8 in Melbourne.

In her opening match at the tournament, the 18-year-old Ukrainian lost to the second racket of Russia Veronika Kudermetova (No. 36 WTA) - 2: 6, 6: 7 (5)).

The Russian tennis player easily won the first set, giving Marta only two games. But in the second game, the Ukrainian was close to leveling the score.
