Poltava decided to optimize staffing before the start of the new season.
The official Facebook account of Poltava Vorskla reported information that the club managed to reach an agreement with other teams on the next job for two of its players.
We are talking about the Croatian striker Ivan Pesic, who will continue his career in the Romanian Voluntari, and the Ukrainian striker Denis Vasin, who has signed a contract with Petrovsky Ingulets. In both cases, we are talking about renting until the end of the current season.
In the new football year, Pesic managed to play 10 matches (327 minutes) as part of the team of Yuri Maksimov, without being noted for effective actions. Vasin played about the same amount (345 minutes), but managed to give one assist in the Ukrainian Cup match.
Recall that during the winter transfer campaign, Vorskla's roster was supplemented by Luizao rented from Port Luizao and Dynamo Kiev player Georgy Tsitaishvili, as well as Olivier Thiel, who came as a free agent.
The first official match of the Poltava team in 2021 will be an away meeting with Lviv Rukh.
