On Saturday, January 23, the women's mass start took place at the seventh stage of the Biathlon World Cup in Antholz, Italy.

Ukraine was represented in the race by only one biathlete - Julia Dzhima. Our compatriot had a good race, but she was prevented from competing for medals by missing the last shot in the race. Before that, the Ukrainian lost a few seconds on the track after falling.

The winner of the women's mass start was the Frenchwoman Julia Simon, who at the finish “brought” only 0.2 seconds to the representative of Sweden Hanne Oeberg. Austrian Lisa Teresa Hauser won a bronze medal.
