The 55-year-old victim was hospitalized, and law enforcement officers arrived at his son's house. The man started shooting at the police. Three law enforcement officers were injured. They are hospitalized, their lives are not in danger.

According to the head of the GUNP Sergei Shaikhet, in the house of a 36-year-old previously convicted man there were stretch marks that were activated by radio communication, the control station for detonating the explosives was with him.

The court of the Central region of Nikolaev chose the detained measure of restraint in the form of detention for a period of 60 days without the right to make a bail. The attacker faces punishment up to life imprisonment.
