The Ukrainian tried to transport from Russia an undeclared collection of military-historical miniatures, the figurines cost more than 24.5 thousand dollars, the press service of the State Border Service of Ukraine said on Tuesday.

According to the press service, the Ukrainian was detained at the Senkovka checkpoint in the Chernihiv region.

" In the driver's cabin, law enforcement officers of the Chernigov border detachment found 474 figurines of tin soldiers and collectible historical figures produced by a Moscow studio, "

According to the border guards, a citizen of Russia asked the Ukrainian to transport the figurines across the border for a fee with the aim of further sale to fans of historical and military miniatures in Ukraine.

As noted, the cost of one such miniature on the Internet is about 1.5 thousand hryvnia (about 53 dollars), all figures cost more than 700 thousand hryvnia (more than 24.5 thousand dollars).
