Iranian Persepolis forward Issa Alekasir suspended six months for celebrating Pakhtakor's goal in the Asian Champions League.

In the quarterfinals of the tournament, Alekasir scored a double against the Uzbek club and celebrated success by showing a narrow cut of his eyes with his fingers.

This gesture was deemed racist by the Asian Football Confederation.
