The funeral of cadet Andrei Rospotnyuk, who died in a plane crash near Chuguev, will take place on Tuesday, October 6, in Mirgorod. This was announced by the deputy mayor of Mirgorod Alexander Gurzhiy.

According to SQ, first they will say goodbye to Andrey in Kharkov, after which his body will be delivered by plane to Mirgorod, where he was born. There the farewell ceremony will take place in the church, then on the central square of the city.. Andrei Rospotnyuk will be buried in the Alley of Heroes of the Mirgorod cemetery.

Andrey Rospotnyuk was 21 years old. He studied to be a military navigator.

The AN-26 plane crashed on the evening of September 25 near Chuguev. After the fall, the plane caught fire. Onboard there were 27 people, of which 20 were cadets of the Kharkov National University of the Air Force. The disaster killed 25 people. Two more were hospitalized in serious condition, the next day one of them died.
