So, according to the SMS, the number of persons who acquired Ukrainian citizenship for 8 months of 2020 is:.

1933 people by territorial origin;

49 people on the basis of agreements on a simplified procedure for changing citizenship;

251 people by the Decree of the President of Ukraine;

18 children as a result of adoption;

146 people as a result of the establishment of custody or guardianship over the child, placement of the child in a child care or health care institution, in a family-type orphanage or foster family, or transfer to the family of a foster caregiver;

4 people recognized by the court as legally incompetent due to the establishment of guardianship over him by a citizen of Ukraine;

172 children in connection with the stay in the citizenship of Ukraine of his parents or one of them;

14 people as a result of acknowledgment of paternity or maternity or establishment of paternity or maternity.
