Klitschko announced tougher quarantine in Kiev

After the decision of the government commission to enter Kiev into the orange zone of epidemiological danger in the capital, a number of restrictions will apply.. Mayor of the city Vitali Klitschko announced this on Telegram.

In Kiev, from Monday, September 14, the following restrictions will apply: no more than 220 people should participate in mass events, one person per 10 sq m of building area; the activity of enterprises providing accommodation services is prohibited, except for hotels; group classes in vocational schools and universities are conducted in groups of no more than 20 people; the provision of routine hospitalizations by medical institutions is temporarily limited, in addition to medical care for pregnant women, newborns, patients with cancer, patients receiving palliative care and cases that pose a threat to life; only fitness centers and gyms can work with no more than one visitor per 10 sq m; ban on admitting children to sanatoriums and recreation camps; road and public transport must carry passengers in an amount of not more than 50% of the seats.

Klitschko also called on the police to monitor compliance with the conditions for self-isolation of patients with COVID-19.
