When does the 2020/2021 UEFA Champions League start

To your attention the schedule of the prestigious tournament of the Old World.

The current Champions League draw will end on 23 August when the final takes place in Portugal.

It is interesting that the new tournament starts even before the end of the last one, namely on August 8. On this day, Fiori (San Marino) and Linfield (Northern Ireland), as well as Drita (Kosovo) and Inter Club (Andora) will fight in the semi-finals of the preliminary round.

The winners will advance to the final, where the team that advanced to the first round of qualification will be determined.

UEFA Champions League Qualifying Calendar - First Qualifiers Round 18-19 August;

- The second qualifying round will take place on August 25-26;

- The third qualifying round will take place on September 15-16 (Dynamo Kiev starts);

- play-off round of qualification will take place on September 22-23 (first matches) and September 29-30 (return matches);

After determining all 32 teams that will take part in the group round, the draw will take place in Athens (Greece) on October 1. This stage starts on October 20.

Champions League group stage calendar - 1st round (October 20-21);

The playoffs will be held on more or less standard dates, as was the case in previous years. The draw for the 1/8 finals will take place on 14 December.

- April 6/7 (first matches of the quarter finals);

- April 13/14 (second leg 1/4 finals);

- May 29, Champions League final in Stanbul.
