According to the source, the Lviv club has debts of $ 5 million. Because of this, he may not receive a license to participate in the next championship of Ukraine. The new co-owner of the Carpathians Oleg Smaliychuk is trying to negotiate with another owner Igor Kolomoisky to split the debt in half and pay it off. If the latter refuses this, then the first will negotiate a full redemption of the club by installments.

Also, the option is not ruled out in which the “Karpaty” cease to exist, and in its place a new club will be created, which will start playing in the First or Second League of Ukraine.
