Recently launched by the American television channel NBC, the streaming service Peacock introduced the trailer for the fantastic series Brave New World. The picture is based on the anti-utopian novel of the same name by British writer Aldous Huxley.

The series takes place in London of the distant future, where consumption is cultivated, and the American industrialist Henry Ford is the symbol of the consumer god. People in the new world are divided into five castes according to their mental and physical abilities, and they decided to solve all psychological problems with a harmless drug - soma. Once a couple of Londoners find themselves outside and fall into the very epicenter of a bloody uprising.

The main role in the teleadaptation of the novel was played by actor Alden Ehrenrike, who had previously appeared in the films \!

The first episode of the Brave New World project is due out July 15.
