The Ministry of Health is awaiting approval of a number of documents by the government at the next meeting regarding the access of scientists to the treatment process, said Deputy Health Minister Irina Mikichak during a press briefing in Kiev on Wednesday.

" This applies primarily to the participation of scientific and pedagogical workers, in particular assistants, associate professors, professors, graduate students, in the treatment process at clinical bases, that is, in hospitals. Cathedral workers, in fact, remained outside the treatment process. The Ministry of Health, together with the People’s Deputies, prepared amendments to several laws, the corresponding bill has been submitted to BP and we are awaiting its consideration, "

The deputy minister also added that at the same time, the Ministry of Health is working on a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers on a clinical healthcare institution, on an internship base. “Thus, we will be able to fully cooperate in all legal frameworks with all scientists of medical universities,” the deputy minister added.
