Southampton head coach Ralph Hazenhuttl has confirmed that midfielder James Ward-Praus has been appointed team captain instead of Pierre-Emil Hoybjerg.

Heubierg is close to leaving Southampton as a free agent this summer. It is not yet known whether he will renew the contract until the end of the season or go home already in late June. Interest in Dane attributed to Tottenham.
