Kiev by the number of new patients does not meet the indicators for the weakening of quarantine

In Kiev, the number of new cases of COVID-19 over the past 7 days per 100 thousand population (incidence) exceeds the level set by the government to mitigate quarantine.

As evidenced by the data published on the website of the Ministry of Health, as of June 1, in Kiev, the rate for new patients per 100 thousand. the population is 13.18 with an acceptable norm of 12.

As of May 31, the incidence rate in the capital was 12.2.

Also, according to the statistical information of the Ministry of Health, the incidence indicators established by the government do not correspond to Volyn (14.45), Lviv (13.54), Rivne (29.15) and Chernivtsi regions (32.62).

In addition, in terms of the average number of tests by PCR and ELISA over the past 7 days per 100 thousand people, Donetsk Region is not ready for relief from quarantine. In this area, testing coverage is 8.93 at a rate of 12.

On May 20, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to introduce adaptive quarantine in Ukraine from May 22 to June 22, taking into account the epidemiological situation in the regions.

The government introduced certain indicators of the epidemic situation in the regions, namely: incidence - this means that the average number of cases of COVID-19 over the past 7 days per 100 thousand. population should be less than 12 people per 100 thousand. of the population; the congestion of beds in health facilities that are defined for hospitalization of patients with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 should be less than 50%; the number of tests by PCR and enzyme immunoassay should be more than 12.
