The manager noted that Lomachenko and Lopez are not going to hold intermediate fights and will meet each other in the next fight. The battle can take place both with the audience and in the empty stands.

At stake will be the title of absolute world champion in lightweight.

Note that the Lomachenko-Lopez battle was scheduled for May 30 in New York, but it was postponed due to the spread of coronavirus infection.

Lomachenko spent his last fight on August 31, 2019, defeating Luke Campbell and winning the WBC title.. Now the Ukrainian has 14 wins (10 knockouts) in 15 fights.
