IT journalists criticized the new generation of iPhone SE smartphone due to the short battery life. Device test published by PhoneArena.

The device was compared with other devices on the market, including the popular iPhone and devices from Google and Samsung. In terms of browsing the Internet, the iPhone SE worked for nine hours and five minutes: this is the lowest indicator in the test.. In particular, the iPhone XR worked two hours longer. In YouTube video playback mode, SE worked until the battery ran out for four hours forty five minutes: for comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S10e played videos for almost eight hours in a row.

As part of the latest test, resource-intensive 3D games were launched on iPhone SE and other devices. The new Apple smartphone once again turned out to be an outsider - the device worked for five hours. The leader of the rating - Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra - worked on a single charge for just over nine hours. PhoneArena came to the conclusion that the device has obvious problems with autonomy. The media editors said that due to the weak battery iPhone SE can be called a suitable gadget only for calls, messaging, listening to music and browsing the web in a browser.

The cheapest Apple smartphone was introduced on April 15. The device received the design of the classic devices of the American company: a 4.7-inch screen with frames, a Home button with Touch ID, a single camera.
