The first sporting event to be held despite the coronavirus will be the UFC 249 numbering tournament. It was supposed to go on April 18, but was canceled due to COVID-19.

WHERE AND WHEN The tournament is scheduled for May 9 in Florida at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena. It will be held without spectators.

The main event of the evening will be the battle between Tony Ferguson and Justin Getgy for the title of interim UFC lightweight champion. Ferguson has already flown to an event in Jacksonville, as reported on Instagram.
