The footballer of the Chilean “Audax Italiano” Rodrigo Hidalgo became the culprit of a fatal traffic accident.

A 24-year-old footballer got behind the wheel of his car while intoxicated and at high speed hit the death of a 60-year-old motorcyclist on a street in Santiago.

The man died on the spot, and the culprit of the accident was detained for 120 days before the sentencing. The player has the opportunity to go on bail, but then he faces 5 years in prison.

A video of the tragedy hit the surveillance camera and was published on YouTube.

Rodrigo joined Chilean “Audax Italiano” in January 2019 and scored 10 goals for the club in 22 matches.
