Finnish police detained a second suspect during an investigation into a deal between the Crisis Supply Center and two intermediaries about the shipment of protective masks from China.

The investigator of the CCU, Tomi Taskila, leading the investigation, said in an interview with the STT news agency that the detention occurred last night in Espoo.

Earlier Wednesday, another suspect was detained, who, according to information leaked to the media, is businessman Onni Sarmaste, who acted as an intermediary in the conclusion of the transaction. During the detention, two luxury cars were also confiscated, which the businessman acquired immediately after concluding a deal with the Crisis Supply Center.

According to Taskila, last night a man was detained in whose name one of the confiscated cars was written.
