The online library of Europeana has created from its collections a selection of unusual backgrounds that can diversify video conferences in Zoom and other similar services that allow you to change the background of a conference participant.

In addition to paintings, 4 thematic galleries have photographs and collages, notes Europuls.

The first gallery is beautiful views. Here are collected natural and urban landscapes - what you need when you're tired of sitting in four walls.

The second gallery contains interesting interiors. Thanks to this selection, a videoconference participant can “end up” at the office of a Dutch notary of the 17th century or at a feast, or can get a personal assistant (who fell into the frame of an Irish photographer in the 1970s).

The third gallery is dedicated to abstract art. In the fourth gallery you can choose a secluded and calm place - the sea coast or a still life in the style of Chinese painting. This gallery will appeal to those who share their place of isolation with numerous households and miss their personal space..

During the quarantine imposed due to the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19, online conference formats for working meetings, educational and public events became especially popular.
