The Ministry of Health has banned the transfer of food products for observation in Novy Sanzhary, where there are quarantined citizens who flew to Ukraine from China.

This was told by Deputy Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko during a briefing in Novy Sanzhary, reports Ukrinform.

" Since we have an observation of a relatively acute respiratory viral infection, we don’t want us to have more observations on diarrheal diseases, ”Lyashko said.

He also said that a food department in a medical center had already been launched, and food for those who were in quarantine was being prepared on the spot, including diet food for a foreign citizen who was turning to doctors for help about exacerbation of the disease of the gastrointestinal tract.

Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ivan Varchenko noted that only personal hygiene products, antiseptic agents and industrial products are transferred to the observation.

" Products - no. And we inform all the volunteers who transmit them (products - ed.. ) from the Red Cross. Products are not passed on to those in observational. But, when people express a desire to leave (products), the Red Cross will continue to decide what to do with these products, "
