Negotiations between Real Madrid and Sergio Ramos on a new contract are frozen. The club is in no hurry to make an offer to the defender, reports AS.

The leadership of Real Madrid understands that the current agreement will come to an end when Ramos is 35 years old, and therefore is in no hurry to make a decision.

Moreover, if a new deal is still to be discussed, Madrid is ready to offer its captain a contract for a year, and he, as previously reported, wants an agreement until the summer of 2023.

Recall that the current Ramos contract is valid until the end of the 2020/2021 season.. Sergio recently became the fifth player in Real Madrid by the number of matches.
