Almost half, more precisely - 47% of the population of Ukraine have territorial claims against neighboring states. This is stated in the results of a survey of Pew Research Center, published on the organization’s website.

Hungarians have the most complaints. The statement “part of the territory of neighboring countries actually belong to us” was agreed by more than two out of three respondents - 67 percent.

The survey was also conducted in other countries: the highest rates after Hungary were found in Greece (60 percent), Bulgaria and Turkey (both 58 percent each).. Among the participants from Russia, 53 percent of respondents said about territorial claims against other states.. In Sweden, they least agreed with this statement: only 13 percent of Swedes have claims against their neighbors, 82 percent said that they have none.
