The preferential electronic ticket “E-ticket” for travel in the city passenger electric transport is issued only to residents of the city of Kharkov.

This was announced by the deputy of the Kharkov mayor on the infrastructure of the city Evgeny Vodovozov.

“According to the Budget Code, the city government has the right to finance only residents of its territorial community, that is, we do not have the right to provide benefits to residents of other settlements, even if these people go to Kharkov every day to work. This issue should be decided by their local government, ”said the vice mayor.

In other words, beneficiaries who are not Kharkiv residents, including ATO-OOS fighters, will be required to pay the full cost of using the metro, tram, bus, and soon minibuses in Kharkov.

Evgeny Vodovozov recalled that from March 1, the ability to replenish old maps for travel on the metro will be discontinued, although it will be possible to travel on them until March 1, 2021.

In addition, this year E-ticket is planned to be implemented in passenger buses.

Recall that Kharkiv citizens who have the right of privileged travel, but are not in the Unified State Automated Register of Persons Eligible for Benefits, need to register in EGARL.
