From February 1, the Ukrainian airline SkyUp Airlines will suspend regular flights to Sharjah (UAE) from Zaporozhye, Lviv and Kharkov.

According to the TsTS, referring to the information message of the air carrier, the suspension of flights is associated with the continuation of the ban on flights in the airspace of Iran and Iraq, introduced by the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine on January 9, 2020.

The need to fly around Iran and Iraq caused an increase in the duration of flights, as well as the need to stop on the way for refueling.

" Such a need increases flight time by at least 3 hours. This creates inconvenience for our passengers, as well as provokes changes in the schedule of other flights at the arrival airports - Zaporozhye, Lviv, Kharkov, "

SkyUp Airlines will consider the possibility of resuming flights to the UAE, if the corresponding ban is lifted.

As for the regular SkyUp flights to Colombo (Sri Lanka), the airline will continue to operate them with an additional landing at? Antalya on the way back.
