The China Football Association has made a number of significant changes that relate to the salaries of players and the formation of the composition of clubs.

According to Titan Sports Plus, from the beginning of the 2020 season, salary ceilings for all players will begin to operate in the Chinese leagues. Salaries of foreign players should not exceed 3 million euros. The salary of local players will be limited to 1.29 million euros, and players in the Chinese team will be able to receive a 20 percent bonus. Chinese players under the age of 21 will not be able to receive over 38 thousand euros if they do not have enough matches in the Super League.

These restrictions do not govern bonus payments.. Thus, the clubs will still have the opportunity to sign expensive players from foreign championships.

As for the application of the teams, the CFA has eased the limit on foreign players, providing them with an additional slot. Thus, from the next season, teams will be able to have up to five legionnaires in applications and simultaneously release up to four of them on the field.

The changes affected the names of clubs, which are now prohibited from using corporate names. This means that clubs such as Dalian Yifang and Guangzhou Evergrand will have to change their names until 2021..
