The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine expresses a strong protest in connection with another visit to the annexed Crimea, which was not coordinated with Ukraine, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reports..

Ukraine considers this visit, like any other not agreed with the Ukrainian side, the so-called trips of Russian officials to the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol a gross violation of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, cynical and demonstrative disregard by the Russian side of generally accepted principles and norms of international law, obligations under bilateral and multilateral treaties to which Ukraine and Russia are parties.

The Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol is an integral part of Ukraine in its internationally recognized borders.. This recognizes the entire international community, which has repeatedly given a proper assessment of the actions of the Russian Federation, including through the adoption of relevant resolutions of the UN, the Council of Europe, the OSCE, other international organizations, as well as the imposition of sanctions against the Russian Federation as an occupying state.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation sent a corresponding note of protest.
