Ukrainian national sambo team returned home after the World Cup, which was held in Bucharest (Romania).

"Blue-yellow" at the competition managed to win 11 medals: two "gold", four "silver" and five "bronze" awards. In addition, the Ukrainians won the "silver" cup in the team championship in combat sambo.

The winners are: Vladislav Rudnev (up to 74 kg), Anatoly Voloshin (up to 100 kg. ), Alexander Voropaev (up to 57 kg), Andrey Kucherenko (up to 62 kg. ), Razmik Tonoyan (100 kg. ), Anastasia Shevchenko (up to 60 kg), Elena Saiko (up to 64 kg), Natalia Smal (72 kg), Galina Kovalskaya (up to 80 kg), Anastasia Sapsay (from 80 kg). and Dmitry Yevdoshenko (up to 62 kg).
