On the eve of the editor-in-chief of the magazine Football Artem Frankov, he gathered a press conference where he spoke about the corrupt active president of the FFU, Andrei Pavelko. However, the event tried to disrupt several people in balaclava.
FFU press service issued an official statement on the incident.
"" Disruption "of the press conference of Oleg Skupinsky and Artem Frankov against FFU was held with the aim of launching a new wave of discrediting the federation".
"The Football Federation of Ukraine is outraged by the lack of principle of customers and performers of a new campaign to discredit FFU. We appeal to the media not to spread the truth.. So, today during the press conference A. Frankov and O. Skupinsky, whose main goal was to replicate false accusations against the federation and its leadership, a group of masked unknowns broke into the venue of the event and staged a cheap performance imitating the disruption of the press conference. The speakers of the event immediately stated that under the hooligan actions of the thugs "their opponents from the FFU are hiding". We emphasize that the FFU has nothing to do with the organization of this performance! It is not difficult to guess that its main purpose is to "promote" a new information attack on the federation! We are well aware of the motives and goals of the directors and actors of this production.. In particular, the NGO "Initiatives of the Future", which is represented by. Skupinsky, and which was registered only at the end of April of this year - synchronously with the beginning of a massive information campaign against the FFU, and its activity in the media is aimed exclusively at slinging the federation and its leaders ".
"Due to the absence in the words and actions of the customers and performers of this campaign, the slightest objective basis, the FFU does not consider it necessary to respond to such attacks. We ask the media and the public to take into account the position of the Federation on this issue and not to replicate false data.
Earlier it was reported that Pavelko opened criminal cases under three articles.
