The 15-meter minotaur Asterion and the giant spider Ariana appeared on the streets of the French city of Toulouse as part of the show "The Guardian of the Temple". The creator of a large-scale street exhibition was the art association of artists, designers and mechanics La Machine. Art director of the company is Francois Delaroziere. In 2008, La Machine has already introduced the 15-meter spider Princess in Liverpool. Spider Ariana was placed on the roof of the Hotel Dieu building, and the minotaur was led through the main streets of the city, theatlantic notes. com. The minotaur Asterion is made of wood and metal, weighs 47 tons and is managed by a team of several dozen people. Thus, the artists recreated the ancient Greek myth of the Minotaur. The daughter of the Cretan king Ariadne handed a ball of thread to Theseus, who decided to enter the labyrinth of the Minotaur, and thereby led him out. The show will continue until November 11, after which the sculptures will be placed in the open exhibition space of Toulouse.
