Real defender Daniel Carvajal continues to consider Julen Lopeteguy the best coach with whom he worked, despite his dismissal from the royal club.

“For me personally, he is the best coach I’ve worked with,” admitted Carvajal.

“I said so before he came to Real Madrid and will continue to repeat it until I meet another coach who would be better than Julen”.

"Unfortunately, he lacked a bit of luck, and he could not continue working in Real. I share his view on football, I like his methods of working with the team as a whole and separately with the players ".

Carvajal took part only in eight matches under the leadership of Lopetegi, missing several meetings due to injuries..
