The final stage of the XIV All-Ukrainian tournament of young geographers was held from October 29 to November 2 in Poltava.

18 teams from Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kirovograd, Poltava, Rovno, Sumy, Kharkiv and Chernivtsi regions took part in it. The tournament was held in three stages according to the Olympic system..

Kharkov presented seven teams. Participants solved geographic problems, conducted a geographical analysis of regions and participated in scientific discussions..

According to the results of the competition, the team of pupils of educational institutions of the Moscow region "Everest" (school number 123, 128 and lyceum number 141) was awarded the diploma of II degree.

The third place was taken by the team of the Kharkov specialized school No. 80 of the Industrial District “Briz”, the combined team of pupils of the Kievsky district “Megapolis” (school No. 5 and lyceum No. 107), and also the combined team of students of the Moscow district “Archipelago” (schools No. 122, 140, 143, 156).

Diplomas of participants were received by the team of pupils of the Novobavarsky district "Geographic" (schools No. 28, 54, 127, 93 and 162), the combined team of students of the Osnovyansky district "Meridian" (gymnasium No. 12, schools No. 41 and 66) and the team of Kharkov Technical Lyceum No. 173 Slobodsky district "The Seventh Parallel".
