Over the years after the revolution, the fruits of which we once again failed to take advantage of, a new terrible phenomenon was born in Ukraine.
According to the latest rating compiled by the investment company Dragon Capital together with the magazine Novoye Vremya, the state of the 100 richest people in Ukraine over the past year has grown 12 times faster than the country's GDP. In general, one hundred oligarchs have concentrated in their hands $ 3.75 billion, which is half of the public debt of Ukraine.
In parallel with the lightning enrichment of a handful of favorites, Ukrainians are rapidly becoming poorer. This year, the IMF recognized Ukraine as the poorest country in Europe, with a per capita GDP of $ 2656 dropped in the ranking below Moldova..
The unsatisfactory state of the economy, the war, the increase in tariffs and inflation - turn the Ukrainian into beggars, and in the meantime the oligarchs close to the regime are fantastically enriched.
The situation today is much worse than it was in the times of Yanukovych. Then everyone clearly knew - there is a criminal regime and a democratic opposition, which has the moral right to demand respect for the rights of people, to put forward economic, social and political demands to the authorities. And at that time moral force was on the side of people - they tried to reckon with them, they were afraid.
Today, the oligarchs have become the most fierce "patriots". And now, under the slogan of reform, patriotism, and under the Ukrainian flags, they plunder the country with impunity and destroy any resistance to their ugly system..
There is no more democratic opposition that could put forward social, economic and political demands on the government, because the oligarchs occupied this niche, distorting and discrediting our values, with which Ukrainians stood and died on Maidan.
Giving power to politicians after the revolution, we allowed them to create a new monster - even more cunning, resourceful and cruel.. Today, the government has usurped a monopoly on patriotism, and anyone who has the courage to speak out against the country's rozgrabunku - she writes in the national traitors.
Removing them from power will be much harder this time.. Yanukovych's regime kept on the batons and machines of the "Berkut", but today the oligarchs have become smarter, putting at the service of more and more ideology.
However, the rubbish of the words about the reforms should look at the results. And the result of their reforms is one complete collapse of social policy, the destruction of the remnants of justice in the country, the total impoverishment of the population, and against this background - the accelerated enrichment of a handful of oligarchs close to power.
Soon we will have a chance to change something in the state, and we have no right to miss this chance.. Or we will remove them from power, or they us - from life.
