TV presenter and general director of the state agency "Russia Today" Dmitry Kiselev spoke at the Russian Academy of Education. During the speech, he asked academics to develop "internal bans" for citizens.

According to the newspaper Kommersant, the TV host addressed the academicians with a request to “define the limits of the impossible and the limits of what is permissible in freedom of expression, freedom of speech.

“In my recent program, I explicitly set the goal of narrowing freedom of speech in Russia,” Kiselev recalled, adding that freedom of speech should be limited to “non-administrative”.
