The representative of the Patriarchate of Constantinople, Metropolitan of Gallia, Emmanuel believes that the autocephaly of the Ukrainian Church will be granted in a very short period of time, probably in the coming weeks, according to an article by the Metropolitan in the TA NEA newspaper dated October 20, translated from a specialized edition of Cerkvarium.

"Autocephaly of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church will be granted in a very short period of time. An important appeal to all Orthodox on this topic has a subtext not political or geopolitical, it is above all a spiritual. Autocephaly should put an end to the separation of Orthodox in Ukraine and not lead to new schisms ", wrote the metropolitan.
