Before the draw of the League of Nations, Ukraine, according to the rating, got into the second Division (B), where it won the Czech Republic and Slovakia as rivals. Already after four rounds, our team guaranteed itself the first line in the table (only the Georgian team has the same achievement).

What does the first place in its group mean for Ukraine? League of Nations - a tournament that will be held before each European and World Championship. The next draw will start in the autumn of 2020, and because of the victory in our group of the current draw, our team will play in the elite division A, where such teams as France, Portugal or Belgium can become its rivals.

In addition, the first place in the group guaranteed for Ukraine "reinsurance" in the form of play-off selection for Euro 2020. In the event that our team cannot qualify for the European Championship through the qualifying group (the draw will take place in early December, and will be played throughout 2019), then in March 2020 I will meet three more teams in the playoffs (they will be played semi-finals and finals).

Many people mistakenly believe that now our team will play in the playoffs among the winners of Division B and will determine the best team in this division.. This is not true.
