Ukrainian authorities will not punish residents of Transcarpathia with Ukrainian and Hungarian citizenship. On this October 13, during a press conference in Uzhgorod, said Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin, reports Gordon.

"We do not blame the Hungarians for acquiring a second citizenship, in the sense that we want to punish them for this. Second citizenship is not provided by Ukrainian legislation, but there is no direct punishment for this, "Klimkin said.

The minister added that people "spread idiotic myths" about the deportation of Ukrainians who received Hungarian citizenship.

"If dual citizenship is not provided for by Ukrainian laws, these laws must be implemented. But no one is going to punish for this dual citizenship ", - said Klimkin.
