According to him, this was done by representatives of the local criminal group, because “certain individuals” tried to illegally harvest, and the official prevented them.

"Local kings not only intimidated the official, but also kidnapped him in the trunk of a car," Bryl wrote.

According to the head of the RSA, he appealed to the National Police and the Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine, and promised to “keep this matter under personal control”.

He also suggested that such attacks are connected with the upcoming elections in the region, and most actively, according to Bryl, “frank criminals began to seek power”.
