The month before August 30, 2018 revealed signs of the destruction of the roof of one of the industrial premises of the Balaklavskaya TPP located near Sevastopol in the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. Natural gas, which is planned to be used for the production of electrical energy by the Russian Federation, is illegally extracted from deposits on the Ukrainian shelf of the Black Sea using floating rigs Sivash, Tavrida, Petro Godovanets, Ukraine (Independence).
