On the eve, on the basis of the Anteus Cynological Center of the Mezhigorye National Park in the village of New Petrovtsy, Kiev Region, open competitions were held among dog handlers with service dogs of law enforcement agencies and military formations of Ukraine “Cup of the Dog Union of Ukraine 2018” under the program “Service of Dogs and Detectors”.

According to the police of the Kharkiv region, 6 teams and 25 participants took part in the competition.. Kharkiv region was represented by three dog handlers with four-legged mates.. Two in the direction of the search for explosives and one - narcotic substances.

In the direction of the search for narcotic substances, the senior inspector cynologist of the KC GUNP in the Kharkiv region Alexander Agarkov ranked second. The team of the Dog Center of the Kharkiv region won the Cup competition "The best team competition, the Commonwealth Cup".
