The Synod of the UOC Moscow Patriarchate demands that the attorneys of the Ecumenical (Constantinople) Patriarchate leave the territory of Ukraine This is stated in the adopted decision of the Synod of the UOC-MP, the press service of the organization.

The appointment of the exarchs of the Ecumenical Patriarch of the Synod of the UOC-MP called "a gross interference in their internal affairs and a violation of their canonical territory".

"The Exarch of the Patriarchate of Constantinople, Archbishop Daniel of Pamphylia and Bishop Hilarion of Edmonton, must leave the canonical territory of the UOC," the synod decision.

Representatives of the Moscow Patriarchate believe that the activities of the exarchs "violate the inter-confessional world".

Also, the episcopate of the UOC-MP, following the decision of the Russian church, decided to suspend joint service with the hierarchs of the Patriarchate of Constantinople.
