JSC "Ukrgazvydobuvannya" has opened the third new field for this year in Kharkiv region.

As the press service of the company reported, at the stage of geological exploration the field's reserves are at least 0.375 billion cubic meters. m, while prospective resources are estimated at about 1 billion cubic meters.

The discovery of the field occurred in August 2018 after the completion of the drilling and testing of the exploratory well, which was laid by the results of the completed seismic survey and within the framework of a special permit for the use of mineral resources obtained in 2014.

Today, work is under way on the development of the well and its introduction into trial operation, and exploration work is also continuing in the new field.

"Ukrgazvydobuvannya" recalls that in May and June of 2018, two new fields were discovered in the Kharkov region in subsoil plots, special permits for which were received before 2017. At the same time, a number of questions on issuing special permits for new sites are still unresolved. At the same time, the state program for increasing production provides that the company annually receive 15-20 special permits for new sites to open new deposits.
