Issues of holding events dedicated to this day in our region on September 20, HOGA head Yulia Svetlichnaya discussed with the leadership of the National Association of Student Sports of Ukraine and representatives of the Ministry of Education.

"We are paying special attention to the development of sports in the Kharkiv region. We also support professionals - athletes and their trainers, as well as implement various projects that popularize and make mass sport accessible, - said, opening the meeting, Yulia Svetlichnaya. - We understand that sport must continue to be supported in the future. After all, this is the pledge of our future national achievements, and, of course, the development of the individual and the strengthening of the nation ".

The head of the region assured the representatives of the National Association of Student Sport of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education that the HOGA will provide all the necessary support for holding the International Student Sport Day in Kharkov.

The event will include both the official part and the start of the National Universiade, and a large-scale flash mob.

"Kharkiv is a long time famous sports center of Ukraine. Julia Alexandrovna supported us, that's why we will be happy to hold the event here, "commented the president of the National Association of Student Sport of Ukraine Yevgeny Imas.

He said that the event is expected by the president of the European Student Sport Association Adam Rozek, representatives of two ministries - MES and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, as well as student athletes from all over Ukraine.

"We will conduct flash mobs throughout the country with the launch in Kharkov. This will be pulling. About 40 thousand students from all over the country are planning to participate in it. Also, various activities are planned. We hope that this will be a very significant and beautiful event, "said Yevgeny Imas.

Chairman of the Committee for Physical Education and Sports of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine Vadim Stetsenko noted that Flashmob and other planned activities should become a motivation for students (and not only) to engage in physical culture and sports.

"Also on this day starts the National Universiade. According to its results, the national team of Ukraine will be formed, which next year will represent the country at the World Universiade, "said Vadim Stetsenko.

In Kharkov, the main location of the holiday will be DS Lokomotiv, it is planned that about 5,000 students will take part in the flash mob in our region.
