The international organization Sport for all called on UEFA to allow matches in European competition between Russian and Ukrainian clubs.

In addition, they also urged not to breed the teams of Ukraine and Russia at the upcoming European Championship-2022.

"We prepared an appeal to UEFA, in which we support the permission to hold matches between Russian and Ukrainian clubs. We also advocate that the teams of Russia and Ukraine are not divorced in different groups at the upcoming championship of the European Football Championship.

The recent battle between Russian boxer Murat Gassiev and Ukrainian fighter Alexander Usik in Moscow showed that sports events involving athletes from both countries can take place in a friendly atmosphere. Targeted breeding of Russia and Ukraine partially deprives tournaments of the sports principle, "- said the head of the organization Janis Cousins.

People's Deputy of Ukraine Yevgeniy Balitsky also holds the same opinion.

"Let people perform at concerts and compete on football fields. After all, it helps, among other things, the development of sports. Ukrainian clubs can play against Russian - as well as national teams of the two countries have the right to compare their strengths in the stadiums.

In society there is always a polarization of opinions. Someone will be rooting for one, someone for another team. This is normal. There is no policy here, "Balitsky said..

However, UEFA is not yet going to change these rules. As a consequence, at the draw of the group stages of the Champions League and the League of Europe everything will remain in place.

Recall that Russian and Ukrainian clubs began to breed since 2014.
