The club of the Ukrainian Second League football "Minai" punished head coach Igor Kharkovskenko for sexist statements regarding the female referee Kristina Kozorog who worked at the match with "Veres".

"What did we miss? It's very simple. Did not have the qualifications of a judge. I never talk about judges. But now I have to. If a woman does not understand football, she should give birth to children. To give birth to children, not to judge matches. Do you understand? There are subtleties in football, which they do not see. They do not know how they are judged, "- said Kharkovshenko after the game.

The press service of the club reported that they do not approve of discrimination, personal insults, and condemn the humiliation of human honor and dignity in any form.

"An educational conversation was held with Igor Kharkovskchenko and penalties were imposed. We ask the Ethics and Fair Play Committee of the Football Federation of Ukraine to also pay attention to this precedent and issue appropriate sanctions, in accordance with the regulations of the FFU.

This example should be a lesson for those who advocate discriminatory manifestations in football, "- said in a statement of the club.

Previously, sexist statements about the executive director of Chelsea Marina Granovskaya attributed to Maurizio Sarri.
