As noted in the statement of claim, the doctor "could not properly assess, diagnose, treat and advise Prince regarding his apparent dependence on opiates".

Recall, Prince died in 2016 at the age of 57 years at home in Minnesota. Toxicological examination showed that the concentration of fentanyl in the singer's blood was 67.8 micrograms per liter at a lethal dose of 58 micrograms.
