From September 1, emergency medical care in Kiev will work in a new "convenient and high-quality format": the paramedics brigades are transferred to the subordination of the capital's Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine. This was stated by the Director of the Department of Health, Valentina Ginzburg, the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration.

According to her, this will positively affect the quality of care and convenience in obtaining it.

To call home emergency care, it will be enough to dial a single number "103". There is no longer any need to recognize and remember the seven-figure number of the "emergency room" of your district: in return, there is control over the call already at the stage of receiving it. All conversations with the dispatcher of the Center are recorded, and the subscriber's number is automatically identified.

"We hope to significantly reduce the number of complaints from Kyiv residents about the incorrectness of doctors or the fact that the call refused to accept," Ginzburg said..

"Kiev will receive medical care on time and exactly the one that is now needed," - said the official.

Family doctors, pediatricians and therapists will provide emergency care daily from 08:00 to 20:00 on weekdays and from 9:00 to 15:00 - on weekends and on holidays.
